The cheese “Livanjski sir”
has a beautiful golden-yellow colour, nice and appetizing flavour. We eat it as hors
d'oeuvre, main meal or dessert.
It contains lot of vitamines such as A, D, E, K, B1, B2, C, mineral matters, milk acid and
carrotine. It is irreplaceable in daily and diet use because of its biological values and

The area of Livno includes 14.9% of total
area of meadows in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 24.1% of the most qualitative grasslands.
For the biggest part of year our sheep and cattle graze on this natural pastures from
which comes this extremely sources for production of the cheese made in Livno, as well as
its specific taste which easily conquers more and more demanding world's market. |
